The Laboratory has developed long-term international collaborations and research exchange relationships with the Gear Research Centers at the Technical University of Munich in German, the Ohio State University in the USA, and Newcastle University in UK. The Laboratory has successfully host a number of international conferences on mechanical transmissions and in related fields. About 159 well-known experts visited the Laboratory in the recent five years. Distinguished scholars at the Laboratory have been invited for lectures and keynote speeches; many researchers have been involved in collaborative researches, international academic visits and studies, and international conference for over 185 times. Many have participated in international research projects.
