Doctoral and master students are the strong and active scientific research forces of the laboratory. Therefore, training of outstanding graduate students is among the top priorities of the laboratory. Through strengthening the study of basic theory, experimental and engineering practice, and the regular academic seminars, graduate students are guided to carry out the research work at the frontiers of the scientific research fields. Students are trained to possess the quality of high-level personnel who are deeply needed by the state. In recent five years, 170 doctoral students and 971 master students have graduated from the Laboratory. A number of their degree theses have been awarded of Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation, Outstanding Master Thesis, and the HIWIN Doctoral Dissertation of Excellence in Mechanical engineering, etc. The employment rate of the graduated students has been 100% for five consecutive years.
