    Prof. Teik C. Lim


  • Prof. Teik C. Lim received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Michigan Technological University, University of Missouri-Rolla and Ohio State University, respectively.  Prior to joining the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in 2017, he was the Dean of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati for 5 years, and he also held the positions of Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering for 2 years, and Department Head of Mechanical Engineering for 7 years.  Prof. Lim is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and a registered Professional Engineer.  He is the founding director of the highly successful and enduring Hypoid and Bevel Gear Mesh and Dynamics Modeling Consortium, and UC Simulation Center.
